Does Phantom Blade Zero have multiplayer or co-op?
Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.
Phantom Blade Zero is listed as Single-player on Steam and 1 player on PlayStation Store, checked October 16, 2026. No local co-op, online co-op, shared campaign or PvP mode is advertised in those listings.
This answers the announced game's player count, not a promise about all future updates. No multiplayer mode should be inferred from an old interview or forum headline.
Single-player means one campaign player
In Inven's October 8 developer interview, Soulframe Liang also explicitly distinguishes the game from PvP and multiplayer titles. Neither store listing offers a way to invite a friend or join a second player.
For the kind of solo challenge available instead, see difficulty and Sixty-Six Days.
Questions
Can two people play together?
Not in any mode listed by Steam or PlayStation.
Is it a roguelike?
The developer describes a story-led action RPG, not a roguelike. The optional 66 Days death limit does not make the normal campaign a randomized run.
