Phantom Blade Zero weapons and Phantom Edges
Updated 2026-10-16. Checked 2026-10-16.
Steam describes over 30 primary weapons and more than 20 Phantom Edges. Soulframe Liang's August 17, 2026 PlayStation Blog specifies 25 Phantom Edges. These statements are compatible: more than 20 is a lower bound, not a conflicting exact count.
A full named weapon database and final balancing values are not verified before release. Preview examples are identified separately from developer-confirmed systems.
What the systems are
The developer's PlayStation Blog confirms weapon upgrades, accessories and reforging that recovers invested materials. It does not document an unrestricted skill-tree respec or numerical upgrade costs.
Liang's December 2025 RPG Site interview describes two main weapons and two secondary weapons equipped together. It mentions two accessories in that demo; an exact final accessory-slot count is not asserted here.
Shacknews' October preview identifies Soul's starting blade Sanguine and The Hunt's Chain Sickle. These are revealed examples, not a tier list or a guarantee about every launch weapon's acquisition conditions.
| Slot | Examples | Count cited |
|---|---|---|
| Blades | Main swords | 30+ on Steam |
| Phantom Edges | Secondary weapons; developer also describes ranged options and summons | More than 20 on Steam; 25 in the developer post |
| Loadout | Two primary plus two secondary weapons | RPG Site director interview, December 2025; final accessory count not verified |
